CAN Account Manager Food & Beverage-Province of Quebec

Diversey is presently seeking a key individual to be a part of the growing team in the food industry division.

A degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology combined with co-op or other work experience in the dairy, brewing and beverage or food processing industries, make you ideally suited to service and develop our customer based relationships.

Major responsibilities:
- Develop detailed knowledge of Johnson Diversey's products, systems and services.
- Maintain and grow existing customer account base by promoting Johnson Diversey's full range of products and services expanding customer portfolio and increasing sales volume with existing customers.
- Service existing customer programs and function in a troubleshooting capacity.
- Complete detailed customer project reports and business reviews.
- Develop detailed understanding of food plant sanitation, CIP and OPC systems.
- Inform customers of changes in technology and introduce new products that would enhance their business.
- Identifying and acting on sales and growth opportunities on an ongoing basis.
- Planning service and sales activities effectively and maintaining records/service reports to properly administer individual accounts.

Minimum requirements:
- Proven ability to carefully plan project activity and work independently.
- Fundamental understanding of food processing industries including meat, poultry, dairy and brewery / beverage.
- Strong computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office software.
- Detailed understanding of current food safety related issues including food related pathogens and extended shelf life technologies.
- Understanding of food industry HACCP programs as well as CFIA and USDA food regulations.
- Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or Engineering combined with experience in dairy, brewing, beverage or food processing industries.

Preferred requirements:
- Experience in a plant Q.A., technical or production department would be an asset.
- Familiarity with PLC logic an asset.
