| Electrical Engineer level 2 Position Summary: Air Traffic Control Products Hardware Engineer to: • Design of new hardware for telecom circuit boards • Power supply requirements for various telecom boxes • Testing and debugging of alpha and beta prototypes with software groups • Coordinates management of regulatory certification activities (safety, European standards, etc.) Skills and Abilities: • Designs of digital and analogue circuits; • Digital designs with CPLD and FPGA by using VHDL and AHDL languages; • Microcontroller, microprocessor and DSP designs; • Familiar with development tools as logic analyser, simulator, oscilloscope, etc.; • Experience in a communications manufacturing environment; • Experience in completing projects from start to finish (full cycle), including schematic, PCB layout, CAD by using surface mount and multi-layers PCB, prototyping and testing; • Programming languages: VHDL, AHDL, C and PASCAL; • Software Packages: MS Office, P-CAD, QUARTUS, MAXPLUSII; • Microprocessor/DSP: Motorola MPC8272 PowerQUICC II family, Texas Instrument DSP family (TMS320C5502, C62X and C64X), Intel MCS51 Microcontroller; • Technologies: Through hole, surface mount and multi-layers PCB. • Bilingualism will be considered an asset. Years of Experience: 2-4 years design and product experience in telecom industry or related field.
